The Synagogue Social Action Task Force

The Synagogue Social Action Task Force is a partnership between the Baltimore Jewish Council and Jewish Volunteer Connection, a program of THE ASSOCIATED.  Representatives from social action committees from various synagogues meet once every other month to share resources, get ideas and hear from speakers, problem solve and join together.  All synagogues are welcome.  Past speakers have included representatives from the Maryland Food Bank, Maryland Hunger Solutions and Jewish Community Services.  The task force was formed a few years ago and started from a micro-grant from the Jewish Council for Public Affairs.

For more information about the task force, contact Toba Rainess at trainess@baltjc.org or 410.542.4850.
