Legislative Coalitions

The Baltimore Jewish Council is an active member of many coalitions.  These coalitions advocate for various social justice issues pertaining to the work of The Associated and its agencies. Many of these coalitions focus their work to make the largest impact during the Maryland General Assembly session, using the interim time to meet with officials, educate their members and develop advocacy plans for the next session.

Below is a list of the coalitions with further information about their agendas and membership. For more information about these coalitions, or to find out how you can get involved, please contact Sarah Miicke.

The Baltimore Jewish Council works with additional coalitions on an ad hoc basis.  We are not a member of these coalitions, but participate when our legislative agendas in Annapolis overlap.
