Learn about The Baltimore Jewish Council’s legislative and budget priorities and how you can play an active role this session as an advocate for the Jewish community.

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS COMMITTEE

The Government Relations Committee (GRC) is responsible for monitoring and adopting positions on federal, state and local legislation. It serves as a vehicle for developing public policy resolutions and positions. The GRC also engages in political activism on behalf of the organized Jewish community. The GRC meets several times each year to discuss public policy issues.  Each year the GRC hosts Advocacy Day in Annapolis, which gives our constituents the opportunity to lobby legislators on behalf of the Greater Baltimore Jewish community.

Monitor and adopt positions on federal, state and local legislation; develop public policy positions; advocate and lobby for public funds to enhance services, safety, and capital projects in the Jewish community
